Parnall Law Voted a Top Place to Work in New Mexico for Fifth Year

Parnall Law Wins New Mexico Top Place to Work Award for Fifth Year

Top Workplaces describes itself as “The Nation’s Most Credible Employer Recognition Program.” It uses a scientifically designed survey and data captured from more than 70,000 organizations of various sizes, sectors, and locations that have incorporated results from the last 15 years. Top Workplaces has surveyed more than 23 million employees as part of the year-round employer recognition program.

Nominated companies can have employees complete the Energage survey. Top Workplace awards are determined solely on employee feedback included in the survey, which asks employees questions related to:

• Employee engagement, such as how engaged employees feel and whether they are looking for employment elsewhere
• Culture drivers, like the company’s values, management, and how much appreciation they are shown
• Pay, benefits, and training

Participating organizations are categorized based on their size. Companies with the highest overall average score in their size category are selected as Top Workplace winners.

Parnall Law was ranked #1 in 2021 for a company with 35 to 149 people. They also won last year. Being a Top Place to Work award winner is a great achievement as it represents the best of the best. As Dr. Greg Barnett, Energage Chief People Scientist, explains, the companies that choose to participate in the Energage survey are ranked 20 to 30 points higher on employee engagement than the national average. Therefore, companies are not trying to beat the average; they are competing against companies that have also developed special cultures and high employee engagement. The survey determines how well similarly sized companies score across the various survey items compared to other companies.

Potential employees can use Top Workplaces to find companies that share their values and have high metrics based on trusted benchmarks. Top Workplaces also collaborates with various media outlets like the Albuquerque Journal to share this information locally.
