BERNALILLO COUNTY, NM — One person was hurt late Tuesday morning due to a motorcycle accident on New Mexico State Road 333 near east Tijeras, reports the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.
The collision occurred near the highway intersection with Mountain Valley Road, west of Edgewood. Deputies responded to the scene shortly before 10:54 a.m.
Details are limited, but the sheriff’s office said a motorcyclist was injured after a crash involving another vehicle. No further information on the severity of the victim’s condition has been shared.
Authorities had both eastbound and westbound lanes of NM-333 in the area shut down during the emergency response and initial investigation.
