Semi vs car crash shuts down I-40 WB offramp in west Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, NM — Deputies responded to a collision involving a semi-truck late Saturday on Interstate 40 in west Albuquerque, according to the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.

The wreck occurred on the Exit 149 ramp connecting I-40 westbound to Atrisco Vista Boulevard, in the city’s Westland Row area. It was first tweeted by the BCSO at 11:56 p.m., after deputies had already arrived at the scene.

No information on the cause of the crash or the involved parties has been made available, but the sheriff’s office said the offramp was closed during the emergency response.

No major injuries were immediately reported.
