ALBUQUERQUE, NM — A truck crashed into a downtown Albuquerque tattoo business on New Year’s Day, causing significant property damage, reports KRQE.
The accident happened at Happy Tattoo, located at the corner of Lomas Boulevard and Sixth Street, at about 10:00 p.m.
While it’s unclear what caused the driver to crash, the business owner, Chris Partrain, said the back end of a truck slammed through the structure, causing an entire wall to collapse.
Two weeks following the incident, Partrain said additional damage has since surfaced in the building, which was erected in 1901.
No major injuries have been reported.
