Police investigate fatal auto vs. pedestrian crash in south Roswell

ROSWELL, NM – According to KRQE, the Roswell Police Department is investigating a deadly auto vs. pedestrian collision that occurred on S Sunset Ave near W Hobbs St on Wednesday.

A 29-year-old male was driving north on S Sunset Ave when he hit Jimmy James Galvan, 53, as Galvan was walking across the street.

Rescue crews transported Galvan to an area hospital, where he died.

The driver and his 23-year-old female passenger were not hurt in the incident.

Wreck reported in Radium Springs

RADIUM SPRINGS, NM – A traffic accident was reported at Fort Seldon Rd and N Valley Dr on Friday, according to NMRoads.

The incident happened around 10:35 p.m.

It is unclear if anyone was hurt in the incident.

Auto accident disrupts traffic on I-25 near Hatch

HATCH, NM – According to NMRoads, a wreck blocked traffic at I-25 and N Franklin St on Friday.

First responders were called to the scene around 7:47 a.m.

Officials have not provided additional details.
