ALBUQUERQUE, NM — A pedestrian was killed Tuesday night following a hit-and-run in east Albuquerque, reports KOB4.
Albuquerque Police said the incident occurred on Central Avenue Northeast near the intersection with Rhode Island Street Northeast shortly after 9:00 p.m.
First responders confirmed an adult male suffered fatal injuries after being struck by an unknown vehicle that continued westbound without stopping.
At this time, investigators are working to obtain an accurate description of the fleeing vehicle. No details about the driver are currently available.
