ALBUQUERQUE, NM — One person was rushed to a hospital with life-threatening injuries early Thursday following a pedestrian crash in east Albuquerque, reports KOB4.
The incident unfolded on Central Avenue Northeast at Morningside Drive Southeast, prompting a response from Albuquerque Police and first responders at about 2:00 a.m.
Specific crash details have not been disclosed at this time, but the victim was transported to an area hospital where they were listed in critical condition.
It’s unclear whether the driver remained at the scene. No pending charges have been reported as of this writing, but an investigation remains ongoing.
BERNALILLO COUNTY, NM — Multiple people were hurt, one critically, Wednesday evening as a result of a collision near Albuquerque’s San Jose area, according to the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were dispatched to the scene on Rio Bravo Boulevard at Broadway Boulevard sometime before 6:15 p.m.
The cause and nature of the accident were not immediately disclosed, but officials indicated that multiple people were injured. One patient was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.
Part of Rio Bravo Boulevard was shut down for an investigation by the Traffic Unit. Motorists were urged to find alternate paths around the scene.
By 8:52 p.m., more than 2.5 hours after the initial report, all lanes were reopened to traffic.

ALBUQUERQUE, NM — A vehicle crash was reported late Wednesday morning in northwest Albuquerque’s Quaker Heights neighborhood, according to APD Traffic.
The accident happened at the intersection of Unser Boulevard and Western Trail Northwest, near Petroglyph National Monument Sign. Albuquerque Police were dispatched to the scene at around 10:13 a.m.
Following the event, the department has not issued a statement regarding the circumstances or the parties involved.
