Pedestrian found deceased following crash on Coors Blvd in NW Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, NM — One person died Wednesday night after being struck by a vehicle near St. Pius X. High School in northwest Albuquerque, reports KRQE.

Albuquerque Police responded to the scene at Coors Boulevard Northwest and St. Josephs Drive Northwest at around 12:00 a.m.

Very few details have been provided, but the department said officers arrived to find the pedestrian deceased at the scene.

No information about the victim has released at this time, and it was not immediately clear whether the driver remained at the scene following the crash.

The Albuquerque Police Department’s motor unit is leading an investigation.

 

Authorities called to wreck on Washington St in SE Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, NM — A vehicle crash was reported last Friday, January 12, in southeast Albuquerque’s Highland Business neighborhood, according to KKOB Traffic.

The accident unfolded at the intersection of Washington Street and Lead Avenue. It was first reported some time before 7:50 a.m.

At this time, local officials have not disclosed further information regarding the cause of the collision or the types of vehicles impacted.


It remains unclear whether anyone sustained injuries and/or had to be transported to a hospital.

 

Accident reported on Coors Rd near Seven Bar Ranch

ALBUQUERQUE, NM — Crews were dispatched to a collision last Friday morning, January 12, on Coors Road in northwest Albuquerque, according to KKOB Traffic.

The crash was reported on a stretch of the road (Corrales Road/New Mexico State Road 448) at Alameda Boulevard Northwest (NM-528), in the Seven Bar Ranch area. It was first reported by KKOB at 7:50 a.m.

Following the collision, local authorities have not disclosed the circumstances behind the event or any information about the impacted parties.


No major injuries or hospital transports were immediately reported.
