NMSP investigates fatal rollover crash on US-60 near Vaughn

GUADALUPE COUNTY, NM — At least one person lost their life Sunday morning following a rollover collision on U.S. Highway 60 east of Vaughn, according to KRQE.

While the wreck’s specific time and location remains unclear, KRQE first reported about the incident on Monday, October 9, at 8:48 a.m.

A preliminary investigation by New Mexico State Police indicates a black Mercedes sedan traveled off the highway for unknown reasons before rolling several times.

First responders pronounced the driver deceased at the scene. The victim’s identity remains undisclosed at this time.

No other major injuries were reported, and no other vehicles appear to have been involved.

The NMSP continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
