Multi-vehicle wreck blocks part of westbound Alameda Blvd in North Valley

BERNALILLO COUNTY, NM — Deputies responded to a multi-vehicle crash early Thursday evening on Alameda Boulevard in North Valley, according to the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.

The accident impacted the westbound lanes of the road at Guadalupe Trail Northwest. It was first reported by the BCSO at 5:09 p.m., some time after deputies had already arrived on the scene.

Although officials have not released a sequence of events leading up to the wreck, preliminary details indicate up to five vehicles were involved.

At the time of the report, a section of westbound Alameda Boulevard in the area was shut down.

The sheriff’s office has not confirmed any significant injuries as of this writing.
