ALBUQUERQUE, NM – According to KOAT, a hit-and-run driver collided with a male pedestrian at Central Ave and Yale Blvd SE on Friday.
A person driving a red Mercedes CLA with a yellow New Mexico license plate struck the victim around 5:30 p.m. as he was walking on a crosswalk. The driver then fled the scene by heading east on Central Ave.
Rescue crews transported the victim to an area hospital in critical condition.
The Albuquerque Police Department’s fatal crash unit is investigating the incident.
Crash near Ladera West injures at least 1 person
ALBUQUERQUE, NM – At least one person was hurt in a wreck at Ladera Dr NW and Laurelwood Pkwy on Tuesday, according to APD Traffic.
The incident was reported to authorities around 11:25 p.m.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.

Wreck disrupts traffic near Academy Acres North
ALBUQUERQUE, NM – According to KKOB Traffic, an auto accident blocked traffic at I-25 NB and San Mateo Blvd NE on Tuesday.
Dispatchers received calls concerning the incident around 4:49 p.m.
Officials have not released additional details.
