Hit-and-run driver fatally collides with pedestrian near Towne Park

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – According to KOAT, a hit-and-run driver struck and killed a man at Chico Rd NE and Polin Springs Trail NE on Sunday.

The driver hit the man as they were standing at the intersection around 10 p.m.

Authorities received calls concerning a man looking into vehicles before the collision. The description of the man matched the description of the man who was hit by the car.

First responders pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

Following the collision, the driver fled the area.

The Albuquerque Police Department is investigating the incident.

Wreck reported near Arenal Acres

SOUTH VALLEY, NM – A traffic accident was reported at Coors Blvd SW and Blake Rd SW on Friday night, according to BCSO.

The incident happened around 8:38 p.m.

It is unclear if anyone was hurt in the crash.

Crash near Manzano Mesa injures at least 1 person

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – According to APD Traffic, at least one person was hurt in a wreck on Eubank Blvd SE between Southern Blvd SE and La Entrada on Saturday.

The incident was reported to authorities around 1:18 a.m.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.
