Emergency crews respond to crash on I-25 SB in Las Cruces

DOÑA ANA COUNTY, NM — Authorities were dispatched to a vehicle crash Tuesday morning that closed a left lane on Interstate 25 in Las Cruces, according to NM Roads.

The accident impacted the southbound lanes of I-25 at mile marker 4, less than a mile north of East Lohman Avenue. It was first recorded in the NM Roads map index at 10:06 a.m.

While the cause of the wreck has not been disclosed, the passing left lane of southbound I-25 was blocked as emergency crews tended to the scene.

Motorists were told to slow down as they approached the area and were warned of delays affecting the area.

As of this writing, local agencies have not released any information regarding potential injuries.
