SANTA FE COUNTY, NM — A 36-year-old Santa Fe resident was arrested for suspected DUI after a crash over the weekend in the Pojoaque area, according to the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office.

Although the SFCSO has not confirmed the exact date and time, the crash occurred on a stretch of Camino Del Rincon.

Preliminary details indicate the suspect, Timothy Aragon, was behind the wheel of a vehicle that struck a fence in the area. Responding deputies said Aragon displayed signs of impairment from drug use. After completing a series of standardized field sobriety tests at the scene, he was taken into custody and booked into the Santa Fe Adult Detention Facility without incident. Blood test results were pending at the time of the initial report.

Authorities noted that Aragon had also been driving though his driver’s license had been revoked following three prior DWI convictions.
