SANTA FE COUNTY, NM — A 20-year-old woman was taken into custody following a crash on Agua Fria Street near southwest Santa Fe, according to the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office.
The SFCSO said the events unfolded at the intersection with Lopez Lane, in the Agua Fria area. While officials did not specify the exact time, the incident was logged into the SFCSO’s “Hotsheets” between September 6 and 7.
Preliminary details indicate deputies were trying to pull over a speeding vehicle when the vehicle collided with another vehicle that was stopped at a stop sign.
The female driver, who displayed signs of impairment at the scene, was arrested and booked into Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.
