Driver strikes, kills pedestrian in International District

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – According to KOAT, a driver fatally collided with an adult male pedestrian near Louisiana Blvd and Central Ave NE on Wednesday.

The driver hit the victim around 3:15 p.m.

Rescue crews transported the man to an area hospital, where he died.

It is unclear if the driver will face any charges.

Wreck reported on NM 211 in Gila

GILA, NM – A traffic accident was reported at NM 211 and L C Ln on Thursday, according to NMRoads.

The incident happened around 7:05 a.m.

It is unclear if anyone was hurt in the crash.

Truck spills oily substance onto Lamonica Rd in South Valley

SOUTH VALLEY, NM – Crews have shut down Lamonica Rd SW near Loris Dr SW because a truck spilled an oily substance onto the roadway on Wednesday, according to the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.

The incident happened around 9:02 p.m.

The cause of the spill is under investigation.
