Driver fatally collides with another vehicle near Huning Highlands

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – According to KOB, a driver fatally struck another vehicle at Coal Ave SE and Broadway Blvd SE on Saturday.

A driver ran a red light and hit another driver around 11 p.m.

Rescue crews pronounced the driver who was hit dead at the scene and transported the other driver to an area hospital with minor injuries.

Authorities do not believe impairment was a factor in the collision.

Officials have not released the victim’s name.

Crash near Valley Gardens injures at least 1 person

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – At least one person was hurt in a wreck at Gun Club Rd SW and Valley Gardens Dr on Sunday, according to BCSO.

The incident was reported to authorities around 10:17 a.m.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.

Wreck blocks traffic near Del Rio Acres

SOUTH VALLEY, NM – According to KKOB Traffic, a crash disrupted traffic at Rio Bravo Blvd EB SW and Isleta Blvd SW on Tuesday.

Dispatchers received calls concerning the incident around 8:07 a.m.

It is unclear if anyone was hurt in the collision.
