Cyclist dies after crash with vehicle on Eubank Blvd in east Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, NM — One person was fatally injured Wednesday night when they collided with a vehicle while riding a bicycle in Albuquerque’s Jackson Area, reports KOAT.

The incident took place at the intersection of Eubank Boulevard Northeast and Constitution Avenue Northeast, near Princess Jeanne Shopping Center.

It remains unclear what events led up to the crash, but the cyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene, confirmed Albuquerque Police Department officials.

The intersection was closed to the public during the emergency response and investigation.

No information regarding the driver has been released.
