Collision closes part of southbound Coors Blvd in SW Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, NM — Deputies responded to a crash last Saturday morning, June 10, on Coors Boulevard in southwest Albuquerque, reports the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.

The accident took place on the southbound lanes of the road at Kirsten Road Southwest, in the city’s Valley Gardens neighborhood. BCSO officials arrived on the scene shortly before 6:55 a.m.

Few details have been provided, but a section of southbound Coors Boulevard was shut down during the response and initial investigation.


By 8:10 a.m., more than an hour later, crews had cleared the scene and all lanes were announced reopened.

As of this writing, the sheriff’s office has not indicated any major injuries in the event.
