Collision closes part of I-25 NB at Broadway Blvd in south Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, NM — Deputies were called to a crash late Sunday on Interstate 25 in south Albuquerque’s Mountain View area, according to the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.

The accident happened on the northbound interstate at Exit 215 to Broadway Boulevard Southeast, or New Mexico State Road 47. BCSO officials responded to the scene shortly before 12:00 a.m.

It was unclear what caused the collision, but all northbound lanes of I-25 were expected to remain blocked for up to 30 minutes during the response.

The sheriff’s office has not provided any details on the involved vehicles or confirmed any major injuries.
