ALBUQUERQUE, NM — Albuquerque Police were dispatched to a crash Monday morning on Interstate 40 near Albuquerque’s Altura Addition, according to APD Traffic.
The accident happened on the westbound lanes of I-40 at Exit 160 to Carlisle Boulevard Northeast. Officers arrived on the scene some time before 8:15 a.m.
Authorities have not released a sequence of events leading up to the wreck or any information about the involved parties, but three westbound lanes were closed in the immediate aftermath.
