
ALBUQUERQUE, NM — A crash Thursday afternoon reduced part of westbound Paseo Del Boulevard Northeast to two lanes in north Albuquerque, according to the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.
The accident impacted the westbound lanes (New Mexico State Road 423) near the onramp from 2nd Street Northwest (NM-47), in the city’s Almaden Valley area. Deputies responded to the scene shortly before 4:39 p.m.
Authorities have not said what caused the wreck, but the closure remained in place for more than 15 minutes.
Motorists were asked to use extra caution in the area as crews worked the scene.

By 4:55 p.m., the accident had been cleared from the roadway and all lanes were restored to traffic.
The sheriff’s office said no injuries were immediately reported.
