Authorities arrest driver for fatal crash near La Luz Del Sol

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – Police have apprehended a man for a deadly crash that occurred near Coors Blvd NW and Sevilla Ave NW on Saturday, according to KOAT.

Isaiah Sena was driving a Ford Mustang north on Coors Blvd when he allegedly ran a red light at the intersection and collided with a person driving a Ford Edge who was making a left turn onto Coors Blvd SB.

The collision caused the two cars to spin into the southbound lanes of Coors Blvd.

Rescue crews pronounced the Ford Edge driver dead at the scene and transported Sena to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities charged Sena with reckless driving and homicide by vehicle. He will appear in court on April 9.

2 dead following DWI crash near Ladera West

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – Two people died following a wreck at Unser Blvd NW and Western Trail on Friday, according to KOB.

Benjamin Guiang was driving at high speeds when he failed to negotiate a curve and crashed around 1 a.m.

Two people were ejected from the vehicle in the accident.

Guiang told officers he had consumed cannabis earlier that day.

Authorities arrested Guiang and charged him with two counts of DWI vehicular homicide.

Officials have not released the victims’ names.

Wreck reported near Valle Felice Estates

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – According to KKOB Traffic, a crash was reported at I-25 and Isleta Blvd SW SB on Friday.
The incident happened around 8:12 a.m.
It is unclear if anyone was hurt in the accident.
