At least 1 left injured after crash on Coors Blvd in SW Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, NM — Injuries were reported Friday night following a vehicle wreck on Coors Boulevard in southwest Albuquerque, according to the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.

The accident happened on the northbound lanes of the road (New Mexico State Road 45) at Arenal Road Southwest, in an area northeast of Tom Tenorio Park. It was first reported by the BCSO at 8:51 p.m., when deputies had already arrived on the scene.

Although the circumstances of the wreck have not been disclosed, at least one person suffered unspecified injuries as a result.

All northbound traffic on Coors Boulevard was reduced to a single open lane during the response and initial investigation.


The sheriff’s office has not confirmed the number of people hurt as of this writing.
