ALBUQUERQUE, NM — Injuries were reported Wednesday night following a collision on 4th Street in north Albuquerque, according to APD Traffic.
The accident happened on a stretched of the road from Guadalupe Trail to the entrance to the Smiths store at Guadalupe Plaza, in the city’s Merritt Acres neighborhood. It was first reported by APD Traffic at 8:10 p.m.
In the aftermath of the crash, all northbound and southbound lanes of 4th Street were closed in the area as crews responded to the scene.

Authorities have not yet confirmed the number of people hurt or the indicated the extent of their injuries.

BCSO responds to accident on I-40 EB at Atrisco Vista Blvd
ALBUQUERQUE, NM — A section of eastbound Interstate 40 in west Albuquerque was closed Wednesday evening following a crash, according to the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.
The collision took place on the eastbound lanes of I-40 at Atrisco Vista Boulevard, in the city’s West of Westland area. It was first reported by the BCSO at 6:32 p.m.
Little information has been provided, but motorists were instructed to find alternate routes as emergency crews worked the scene.

It remains unclear whether anyone was seriously hurt or had to be taken to a hospital.
Accident creates delays on I-25 SB at Big I in NE Albuquerque
ALBUQUERQUE, NM — Motorists faced delays late Thursday afternoon on Interstate 25 at the Big I in northeast Albuquerque, according to NM Roads.
The collision took place on the southbound lanes at mile marker 226, before the offramp to westbound I-40. It was first recorded in the NM Roads map index just after 4:00 p.m.
Little information has been made available at this time, but the I-25 ramp’s right southbound lane was blocked following the crash.
Authorities have not confirmed whether anyone was injured or transported to a hospital.
