APD responds to wreck on I-40 EB at I-25 near downtown Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, NM — Albuquerque Police were called to a crash Tuesday morning on Interstate 40 in the Santa Barbara-Martineztown area of Albuquerque, reports APD Traffic.

The accident happened on the eastbound side of I-40 at Exit 159B to Interstate 25 southbound, northeast of Downtown. Officers were dispatched to the scene at around 6:23 a.m.

As of this writing, the department has not disclosed the cause of the collision or any details regarding the involved vehicles.


It was not immediately clear whether anyone was hurt and/or sent to a hospital.
