APD investigates fatal pedestrian collision in Altura Park

ALBUQUERQUE, NM — One person was hit and killed by a vehicle Tuesday night in northeast Albuquerque’s Altura Park neighborhood, according to KRQE.

Albuquerque Police responded to the scene near Carlisle Boulevard and Indian School Road on February 20, at about 10:00 p.m., after receiving a report about a crash involving a pedestrian.

The circumstances behind the incident have not been disclosed, but the APD said officers arrived to find the pedestrian deceased at the scene.

Officials indicated that the driver remained at the crash site.

An investigation is being conducted by the APD’s Fatal Crash Team.

At least 1 left injured following a wreck on Coors Blvd in West Mesa area

ALBUQUERQUE, NM — Albuquerque Police responded to an injury crash Tuesday night on Coors Boulevard near Albuquerque’s West Mesa and Los Volcanes areas, according to APD Traffic.

The accident left the northbound lanes of Coors Boulevard (New Mexico State Road 45) closed at Central Avenue, and all southbound lanes blocked at Bluewater Road Northwest. Officers arrived at the scene sometime before 9:11 p.m.

Very few details have been shared at this time, but at least one person was injuried as a result of the collision. The severity of the patient’s condition remains unclear.

A collision reported on Alameda Rd in North Valley

BERNALILLO COUNTY, NM — Authorities responded to a vehicle accident Wednesday morning at a North Valley intersection, according to KKOB Traffic.

The crash was reported at Alameda Road and 2nd Street Northwest (New Mexico State Road 47), near Bernalillo County Fire Department Station 31. It was first reported by KKOB Traffic at 6:45 a.m.

As of this writing, no details regarding the events leading up to the accident or the involved parties have been provided.


No injuries or hospital transports from the scene have been confirmed.
