APD investigates fatal crash on I-40 in far east Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, NM — One person died Tuesday night after a collision on Interstate 40 in far east Albuquerque, according to KOB4.

The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office said the fatal wreck occurred near the exit to Carnuel. It was first reported at around 8:00 p.m.

At this time, authorities have not disclosed a potential cause of the accident, the types of vehicles impacted, or any information on the involved parties.
