ALBUQUERQUE, NM — Authorities were called to a collision Friday morning in east Albuquerque’s La Mesa neighborhood, according to APD Traffic.
The accident happened at the intersection of Marquette Avenue Northeast and Louisiana Boulevard Northeast, just east of The Downs Racetrack. Police dispatchers first received the call shortly before 8:36 a.m.
It was not immediately clear what caused the crash, but the incident prompted a response from both Albuquerque Police and Albuquerque Fire Rescue.
