GUADALUPE COUNTY, NM — Authorities were called to a collision Monday afternoon that closed a section of westbound Interstate 40 near west Santa Rosa, according to NM Roads.
The accident happened on the westbound lanes at mile marker 248, about 9 miles west of U.S. Highway 84 and about 25 miles west of the city. It was first recorded in the NM Roads map index at 12:44 p.m.
At this time, no information regarding the cause of the crash has been released.
It remains unclear how many vehicles were impacted and whether or not anyone was seriously injured.
