Accident reduces I-25 SB to single lane in Mountain View area

ALBUQUERQUE, NM — BCSO deputies were called to a crash last Thursday afternoon, September 14, on Interstate 25 in south Albuquerque, reports the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.

The collision occurred on the southbound side of I-15 at Exit 215 to Broadway Boulevard, in the Mountain View area. Deputies responded to the scene some time before 4:32 p.m.

Officials have not specified the cause of the accident or the types of vehicles involved, but all southbound traffic was forced to get by through only a single open lane.

By 6:16 p.m., more than 1.5 hours after the initial report, crews had cleared the scene from the roadway and all lanes were reopened to traffic.
