DOÑA ANA COUNTY, NM — Crews were called to a collision Friday morning on New Mexico State Road 28, about a mile north of Santo Tomas, according to NM Roads.
The wreck took place on the southbound lanes of NM-28 at mile marker 22, near Santo Tomas River Lateral. It was first recorded in the NM Roads map index shortly after 9:00 a.m.
Little information has been made public at this time, but a span of southbound NM-28 was shut down following the crash.
Authorities have not specified the cause of the accident, the types of vehicles involved, or any serious injuries.
