ALBUQUERQUE, NM — A vehicle wreck late Thursday morning closed a right lane on Interstate 40 north of downtown Albuquerque, according to NM Roads.
The collision occurred on the eastbound side of I-40 at 6th Street (mile marker 158), in the Near North Valley neighborhood. It was first recorded in the NM Roads map index at 11:49 a.m.
No information regarding the cause of the wreck or the involved vehicles has been provided, but the right eastbound lane was blocked in the immediate aftermath.
Motorists were urged to slow down and use extra caution as they approach the area. Alternate routes were advised.
As of this writing, officials have not reported any injuries and/or hospital transports connected to the incident.
