ALBUQUERQUE, NM — One person was hurt in a single-vehicle wreck Wednesday morning off University Boulevard in southeast Albuquerque, according to the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.
The accident happened in an area south of the Rio Bravo Boulevard and University Boulevard intersection, near Albuquerque International Sunport. Deputies responded to the scene shortly after 8:00 a.m.
Little information has been shared at this time, but authorities had a section of Los Picaros Road (south of the intersection) shut down in both directions during the emergency response.
The sheriff’s office said only minor injuries were reported, but it was unclear whether the patient had to be taken to a hospital.
