1 dead, 1 injured following wreck on I-40 near Moriarty

MORIARTY, NM – According to KOAT, one person is dead, and another is injured following a crash between a semi-truck and an RV on I-40 EB near Moriarty on Wednesday.

The crash happened around 10:30 a.m. Following the collision, a fire started, soon spreading to a grassy area by the road.

Rescue crews pronounced one person dead at the scene and transported one person to an area hospital in critical condition.

Wreck reported on I-25 in Gary

GARY, NM – A traffic accident was reported on I-25 near NM 80 on Thursday, according to NMRoads.

The incident occurred around 7:56 a.m.

It is unclear if anyone was hurt in the collision.

Emergency crews respond to crash near West of Westland

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – According to BCSO, first responders were called to the scene of a traffic accident on I-40 S Frontage Rd between Atrisco Vista Blvd and Shelly Dr SW on Wednesday.

Dispatchers received calls concerning the incident around 3:05 p.m.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.
