Attorney at Law

Amber Medina

Amber with FamilyI was born and raised in Oklahoma and attended the University of Oklahoma, where I received a BA in Native American Studies, with a Minor in Anthropology. I am also Chickasaw and a proud member of my tribe, the Chickasaw Nation, where my grandfather was a recognized elder. I attended my first year of law school at the University of Arizona College of Law on a full-merit scholarship. I finished law school at the University of Oklahoma College of Law where I received my Juris Doctorate.

While studying law I developed a love of trial, storytelling, and the courtroom. So, I started my career trying cases in the Cameron County District Attorney’s Office in Brownsville, Texas. After gaining valuable criminal trial experience, I began my career in civil litigation. I worked for a defense firm on maritime law cases all over South Texas from Houston all the way south to the border. While I loved the cases, I quickly realized I did not want to represent insurance companies but wanted to help injured people. So, for the past 17 years, I have been doing plaintiff’s personal injury litigation and I wouldn’t have it any other way! I have handled cases all over Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Oklahoma, Kentucky, Ohio, and Florida. It has been my honor to represent injured people and their families.

I love to cook, travel, and spend time with my family.
