APD responds to fatal crash involving semi-trailer near Vista Grande

ALBUQUERQUE, NM — One person died early Friday morning after a two-vehicle wreck on Coors Boulevard in northwest Albuquerque, according to KOAT.

The Albuquerque Police Department said the fatal accident happened at the intersection with Sequoia Road. Officers were dispatched to the scene at around 3:00 a.m.

Little information has been made available, but authorities confirmed one person succumbed to their injuries.

It was unclear whether anyone else was seriously hurt.

A section of Coors Boulevard was blocked off in both directions as the APD’s Motors Unit investigated.
