Woman who allegedly caused fatal downtown crash to stay in jail

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – According to KOB, the woman who is accused of causing a deadly wreck near 2nd Street NW and Lomas Blvd on September 22 is to remain in jail until her trial.

Nikole Zamora allegedly drove 70 mph in a 30 mph zone when she ran a red light, causing a five-vehicle collision.

One person died in the collision. First responders transported three others to area hospitals.

At least 1 dead following wreck in southwest Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – At least one person is dead following a crash on Central Ave SW between 114th St SW and 110th St on Wednesday, according to KRQE.

Following the collision, crews shut down both directions of Central Ave SW to investigate the incident. The closure lasted several hours.

Officials have not released more details.

APD responds to injury accident near Stardust Skies Park

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – According to APD Traffic, officers responded to an accident with injury at Comanche Rd NE and Pennsylvania St NE on Thursday.

The incident happened around 5:26 a.m.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.
