Woman fatally hit by vehicle on Louisiana Blvd in NE Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, NM — A woman died Sunday after a pedestrian crash in northeast Albuquerque’s Stardust Skies Park neighborhood, reports KOB4.

The fatal incident occurred on Louisiana Boulevard, just south of Montgomery Boulevard Northeast, near Cleveland Middle School.

Albuquerque Police have not released the sequence of events leading up to the event, but officials confirmed the victim died from her injuries at the scene.

A section of northbound Louisiana Boulevard was blocked off during the response and initial investigation.

It was unclear whether the driver remained at the scene, but no charges have been reported at this time.

The APD continues to investigate the collision.
