Woman, 96, killed in accident on New Mexico State Road 502

SANTA FE COUNTY, NM – A 96-year-old woman died following a collision in Santa Fe County on Wednesday afternoon, the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office reported.

The crash, involving two vehicles, took place along New Mexico State Road 502 near Pojoaque High School.

The Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Homicide Investigation Team is trying to determine the cause of the crash.

Both east and westbound lanes of N.M. 502 between County Road 101D and State Road 30 were closed for several hours while law enforcement authorities and emergency crews were responding.

CMV crash causes lane closure on Interstate 25 north

SIERRA COUNTY, NM – A crash disrupted traffic for drivers in a portion of Sierra County during Friday morning’s commute.

According to an advisory on NMRoads at 9:39 a.m., a commercial motor vehicle was involved in an accident on Interstate 25 northbound at mile marker 64, 14 miles south of Truth or Consequences.

The passing left lane of the interstate was shut down while emergency responders worked at the scene.

Northbound Coors Boulevard shut down due to accident

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office alerted motorists to a wreck in southwest Albuquerque on Thursday night.

An advisory at 6:40 p.m. stated that BCSO deputies were dispatched to the crash site at the intersection of Coors Boulevard and Barcelona Road.

All lanes of northbound Coors Boulevard were closed due to the incident. There were no immediate reports of injuries.
