Van driver fatally collides with man near Altura Park

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – According to KOAT, a driver struck and killed a man on southbound Carlisle Boulevard at Interstate 40 Sunday night.

The driver hit the victim as he ran in front of the van around 10 p.m.

First responders transported the victim to an area hospital, where he died.

Authorities determined impairment and speed were not factors in the collision.

Crews shut down the area to process the scene following the crash.

Crash on Shelly Drive Southwest near Metropolitan Detention Center injures at least 1 person

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – At least one person was hurt on Shelly Drive Southwest near the Metropolitan Detention Center on Saturday night, according to the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.

Officials posted about the incident on X around 11:38 a.m.

Authorities urged motorists to avoid the area.

Wreck reported on New Mexico 404 near Anthony

ANTHONY, NM – According to NMRoads, an accident was reported on eastbound New Mexico 404 near mile marker 3 on Monday.

The incident occurred around 7:04 a.m.

It is unclear if anyone was hurt in the crash.
