Update: Pedestrian dies from injuries after being hit near Enchanted Park

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – According to ABQ Raw, a person who was hurt in a pedestrian collision near Enchanted Park on May 11 died from their injuries on May 12.

A person was driving a 1990 Dodge pickup truck north when they stopped at the stoplight at Chelwood Park Boulevard Northeast and Menaul Boulevard Northeast.

The driver turned west when the light turned green and struck two pedestrians.

First responders transported the two victims to an area hospital. A male pedestrian died the next day.

Authorities believe the driver’s failure to yield to the right-of-way caused the collision. Charges are pending against the driver.

4 hurt in multi-vehicle collision in downtown Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – Four people were hurt in a four-vehicle collision in downtown Albuquerque Wednesday afternoon, according to ABQ Raw.

The accident occurred on Interstate 25 near Lomas Boulevard Northeast around 3 p.m.

Four people suffered non-life-threatening injuries. It is unclear if anyone was hospitalized.

Crews had the area cleared and reopened by 4:42 p.m.

Auto accident disrupts traffic in South Valley

SOUTH VALLEY, NM – According to the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office, a collision in South Valley blocked traffic Wednesday evening.

Emergency crews were called to the scene of an accident at Coors Boulevard Southwest and Blake Road Southwest around 6:47 p.m.

Officials have not provided more details.
