Truck crashes off Interstate 40 bridge onto Tramway Boulevard

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – One person was critically injured in a truck accident in northeast Albuquerque on Tuesday morning, officials said.

According to a Facebook post by Albuquerque Fire Rescue, crews were dispatched the intersection of Interstate 40 and Tramway Boulevard at about 11:17 a.m. They found that a truck towing a travel trailer had gone off the bridge from I-40 westbound and fallen onto Tramway Boulevard below.

One person had to be extricated from the vehicle and was taken to a local hospital with critical injuries. The other occupant of the truck managed to get out safely. The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Albuquerque Police Department.

The right lane of westbound I-40 was closed at Tramway while the wreck was being cleared, causing traffic delays through the area.

Crash involving semi-truck shuts down northbound Coors Boulevard

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – Deputies with the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene of a truck accident in Albuquerque on Wednesday morning.

In a traffic alert posted at 9:30 a.m., the BCSO said the crash involved a semi. There were no immediate reports of injuries.

Northbound Coors Boulevard was closed at Los Padillas Road while the accident was being cleared and investigated. Drivers were advised to use Isleta Boulevard as an alternate route.

Lane closed on U.S. 70 in Las Cruces due to accident

LAS CRUCES, NM – An accident disrupted traffic for drivers in a portion of Dona Ana County on Tuesday afternoon.

According to an advisory on NMRoads at 2:46 p.m., the crash took place on U.S. 70 westbound,

The left lane of the roadway was closed from mile marker 155 in Las Cruces to mile marker 156 in Hacienda Acres while emergency crews responded.
