SANTA FE COUNTY, NM — Emergency crews responded to a big rig collision late Thursday morning on Interstate 25 near southwest Santa Fe, according to NM Roads.
The accident impacted the southbound lanes of I-25 at mile marker 266, approaching New Mexico State Road 16. It was first recorded in the NM Roads map index at 11:19 a.m.
Officials have not provided information indicating a possible cause of the crash, but the right southbound lane of I-25 was shut down as crews worked to clear the scene.
Motorists were warned of delays and urged to use extra caution as they proceed into the area.
As of this writing, no major injuries have been confirmed. It is unclear whether another vehicle was involved.
