SANTA FE COUNTY, NM — Emergency crews responded to a jackknifed tractor-trailer Thursday morning on Interstate 25 near southwest Santa Fe, according to the New Mexico Department of Transportation.
The accident occurred on the southbound lanes at mile marker 266, about 12 miles southwest of the city. It was first reported by NMDOT at 10:11 a.m.
Authorities have not released details on the cause of the wreck, but at the time of the initial report, crews were working to clear the scene.

All southbound lanes were closed in the immediate aftermath, but the northbound interstate remained open to traffic.
