T-bone crash closes part of northbound Broadway Blvd in south Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, NM — Deputies were dispatched to a T-bone collision Wednesday night in south Albuquerque’s San Jose area, according to the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.

The accident occurred just north of the Rio Bravo Boulevard Southeast (New Mexico State Road 500) and Broadway Boulevard Southeast (NM-47) intersection. It was first reported by the BCSO at 9:23 p.m.

Although the circumstances of the wreck have not been specified, all northbound lanes of Broadway Boulevard were shut down in the immediate aftermath.


By 10:26 p.m., more than an hour later, crews had cleared the scene from the roadway, leaving all lanes reopened to traffic.

No information regarding potential injuries has been reported at this time.
