T-bone collision reported near I-25 SB offramp in Wildflower Area

ALBUQUERQUE, NM — Deputies responded to reports of a T-bone crash last Friday, April 28, near an Interstate 25 exit ramp in northeast Albuquerque, according to the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.

The accident happened on the southbound frontage road near Exit 234 to Tramway Road Northeast/Roy Avenue, in the city’s Wildflower Area. It was first reported by the BCSO at 8:34 p.m., when officials had already arrived on the scene.

Details remain limited, but the wreck closed all southbound lanes of the frontage road near Tramway Road.


As of this writing, the sheriff’s office has not disclosed a possible cause of the crash or details on the vehicles involved. No information regarding potential injuries was immediately available.
