Solid waste truck fatally collides with pedestrian near First Plaza

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – According to KOB, a solid waste truck driver struck and killed a pedestrian at Central Ave NW and 1st St SW on Friday.

The driver hit the victim around 6:15 a.m.

Rescue crews pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

Crews shut down the area so authorities could investigate the incident.

Driver strikes, kills pedestrian

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – A driver fatally collided with a pedestrian on Coors Blvd SW near Gonzales Rd SW on Friday, according to KOB.

The driver was heading north in a silver Toyota on Coors Blvd SW when they collided with a man crossing the road around 5 a.m.

Rescue crews pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene.

Following the collision, the driver remained at the scene.

Wreck reported in South Valley

SOUTH VALLEY, NM – According to BCSO, a crash was reported at Rio Bravo Blvd SW EB and Isleta Blvd SW on Thursday.

The incident happened around 6:34 p.m.

It is unclear if anyone was hurt in the collision.
