Single-vehicle accident closes I-25 NB near south Hatch

DOÑA ANA COUNTY, NM — New Mexico State Police officers responded to a crash Tuesday afternoon on Interstate 25, south of Hatch, according to New Mexico State Police.

The collision was reported on the northbound lanes at mile marker 29, in an area just south of County Road E074. NMSP arrived on the scene shortly before 12:45 p.m.

Officials have not said what led up to the accident, but only a single vehicle was involved.

A section of the northbound interstate was shut down to accommodate an investigation.


No injuries have been confirmed as of this writing.
