SANTA FE, NM — A vehicle accident was reported Tuesday afternoon on U.S. Highway 285/84 in northwest Santa Fe, according to the City of Santa Fe Police Department communications log.
The collision was reported on a stretch of the highway (Saint Francis Drive) at the intersection with Sabino Street, a few blocks west of DeVargas Center. Dispatchers first received the call at about 2:14 p.m.
No further information regarding the cause and nature of the crash has been released at this time, but the communications log indicates the incident was closed out at 4:23 p.m., more than two hours later.
As of this writing, the SFPD has not confirmed any serious injuries connected to the event.
